May 2009: Diabolical, a botanical mystery/romance, is a finalist in the Utah RWA Great Beginnings Contest.

April 2009: Sweet Inspiration is a finalist in the paranormal category for the Happily Ever After contest sponsored by the Mid-Michigan RWA.

March 2009: Penny has been offered a contract for Sweet Inspiration by The Wild Rose Press.

Fall 2008: Sweet Inspiration wins first place in the paranormal category for the Gateway to the Best contest sponsored by the Missouri RWA.
